Charles Wharton visits Anthony Reynard, the recently widowed husband of his sister Janine. In his unsettling Victorian mansion, Reynard tells Wharton that Janine died by falling off a ladder while dusting the mansion’s East Room, breaking her neck.

In the countryside of Brazil, José lives with his mother, Fátima, in a housing complex. His life is marked by conflict with his father, Adenor. Amidst all this, Hugo appears, challenging José's truths and his understanding of himself.

Strangeness and reality are confused in this free reinterpretation of the famous Alice's Tea by Lewis Carroll. Starting from her inner world that is reflected and reconstructed in the characters, Alice thinks about the human condition.
